  1. Baking soda volcano

          Kids are definitely going to love this idea. First you need to make dough by mixing about 6 cups of flour, 2 cups of salt, 2 or 3 cups of warm water and about 5 tablespoons of oil. Place a bottle on a tray to avoid making a big mess. Wrap the dough around the bottle but without covering the hole. Pour some warm water in half of the bottle. You can put some food colouring if you want to make it more attractive. Add about 5 or 6 drops of detergent into the bottle. It will make great lava. It is now time to use baking soda – add around 2 tablespoons of it. At the end pour vinegar until there is an eruption. It is so funny that your kids are going to have a great time.

          Another fun game for kids is pouring vinegar drops over baking soda. You can sprinkle the soda in a big pan. Fill some eye dropper with vinegar. Adding food colouring to the vinegar is a great idea. Start dropping the mixture onto the baking soda and watch it fizz up. It is a really exciting game. Let your kids mix colours and have fun.

You need to fill an ice tray with vinegar mixed with different food colouring. Keep it in the fridge until it freezes. After that, pop the ice cubes out and place them on a plate or a pan. Sprinkle some baking soda on top and watch the reaction.

You can mix baking soda and little bit of water in a bowl. Don’t pour too much water as you are about to make some small balls from the dough that is formed. While making the balls, hide small treasures or toys in them. Place the balls on a piece of paper. You should wait about 24 hours until they are completely dry. Your kids may then spray some vinegar over the soda balls in order to make them fizz.
